With the current status of what Is happening at the moment with corona virus, meaning that we all have a lot more time on our hands,so why not use this time to read the larger books in our TBR. As we will not have to carry them around with us so here are 5 books and 5 series I would recommend, when you do not have to carry the books around. I have been watching a lot of Booktubers on Youtube recently and they do a lot of Book Tags, so when I came across this Tag on, A Rambling Reviewer’s blog and it seemed interesting so thought I would give it ago
If you do come across any Book Tags let me know.
So here we go
How do yoy keep track of your TBR?
I don’t have one fixed list with every book on my TBR, So they are spread all over the place in the following locations: Goodreads, wishlist on Kobo, reserved book form the library, books I own on Kobo, and other books I want to read but are on no permanent list.
Is Your TBR mostly print or e-books?
This is easy as I almost exclusively read e-books, so they are in that format or though I do have the odd print book which are a legacy from before I got my e-reader.
A book that’s been on your TBR the longest?
That’s easy I am looking at it right now it is Eugeine & Napoleon III by David Duff, it was published in 1978, and working it out I either won it that year or the one after. The Book was a prize in a tombowler when I was a child and I could either take the book or chocolate, even though the book was way to old for me I took the book instead
A book you recently added to your TBR?
That’s Peter Pan I it was added today, as I said earlier I have been watching a lot of Booktube recently and one of them who I like Merphy Napier, says it is her favourite book. Now as I live near Nottingham, where J M Barrie lived and worked and is said to get some of his ideas for the book I thought I would add it to my TBR.
A book on Your TBR strictly because of its beautiful cover?
As some one who uses an e-reader to read books I would say as the screen is only black and white, I do not add books to my TBR on the beauty of the cover alone, but books are on my TBR list because the cover intrigued me when I first saw it
A book on your TBR that you never plan on reading?
All my books on my TBR like any reader I am planning on reading (honest), but of those the on I would say I am least likely to read is Tiger By Tash Aw, I know nothing about it, all of a sudden I owned a copy when I was pressing buttons on my Kobo other than that I know nothing about it.
An unpublished book on your TBR That you’re excited for?
Another easy one as it is not due to be published in march and that is The Mirror and the Light (The Wolf Hall Trilogy, Book 3), this is the final book of the series and it comes out the 5th of march.
A book on your TBR that Basically everyone’s read but you?
That would be The Handmaid’s Tail by Margaret Atwood, I have not watched the TV series, but I got the book last year, but not got around to reading it yet.
A book on Your TBR that every one recommends to you?
I would say The Colour of Magic by Terry Pratchett, or any of the Discworld series, this has been recommended on and of since the late 1990’s, so I may read one eventually.
A Book on your TBR that your dying to read?
This would be The Last by Hanna Jameson, which is about a murder among 20 people after they survive a nuclear war.
How many books are on your Goodreads self?
That is 469, or though a lot of them I have already read, I took a break and deleted my account, so when I started it up again some of the books that I added as I want to read I already read before.
So Their You Have my TBR book tag, either do it you self or had any comments bellow.
